Can Doctor Tell Your Pregnant at Pap Smear?

If you are only a few weeks along, can your doctor tell when looking at the cervix during the exam? Wouldn't the cervix be closed? Any insight?

Re: Can Doctor Tell Your Pregnant at Pap Smear?

I believe your cervix looks more vascular in the first weeks of pregnancy. It closes and becomes softer and more covered in mucus. When you have your pap the doctor should have a full view of it with the speculum in. I guess it depends on how observent you dr is? Hope this helps.
