Strange vaginal discharge

I know that it's common to experience vaginal discharges, but this one that I have seems to be different from all of the other ones I have read about. I am experiencing a yellowish-brown discharge that smells quite strange, and sometimes even smells like ammonia. It comes in large amount and I have to wear liners all of the time. Sometimes it bleaches my underwear if it gets on them, leaving pinkish bleach marks on my black undies. There is a small amount of itching, but it's not excessive, and I get sore after and during sex. I have been experiencing these symptoms for years (long before I was sexually active, so I don't think it is an STD, though I can't completely rule it out.) It has however, seemed to have gotten worse over the years. I have already had one child, and am now currently pregnant again and went to my doctor last week, who took a swab from inside. The tests came back and I was told that everything was fine, and that it normal to get a little extra discharge during pregnancy. But I know that there is certainly something wrong and that this is not normal. I was hoping that maybe someone might have some ideas on what this could be, or could give me some suggestions on what I should do next. Are there any other tests I should ask my doctor to take? I am really unsure what to do.

Well, BV has a Amonia smell, or a chemical-bleachy smell. BV also is very simalier symptoms as a Yeast infection (as for the itching)I would go see a differant OB/GYN as soon as you can,Did they test you for BV??? I had BV for the whole time I was pregnant with my last child. Its because your Vaginal PH is off balance (Typical during pregnancy) I would go back, and MAKE SURE they check you for BV, Mention the bleachy smell, and soreness after sex. Good Luck. This just sounds oh to familier..
