Does mild vaginal itching always mean infection? - Women's Health Message Board

Hi to all!

I have this mild itching that is more annoying than anything at times throughout the day and I wanted to know if that always meant infection or can hormones do something like that to where it doesn't warrent going to the Dr. Anyone have an idea? Thanks!!!!!

Usually itching is caused by a yeast infection. Or it could be caused by irritation to that area. If it doesn't go away or gets worse I would get some type of yeast infection treatment or go to your OBGYN.

PH Balance problem? What would cause that? Will it go away on its own if it is that? Today isn't bad at all. I itched a little bit this morning but nothing since (knock on wood) It just comes and goes I don't know what to think about it or if I should even think about it you know?
