| In Pain
since tuesday or wednesday, i have had a pain on the right side of my vagina. it doesn't look swollen, there is no redness, no "signs" of anything ... just pain. it's not all the time - sometimes it just comes out of nowhere, sometimes it is when i am poking around to see if i see anything (which i never do). the pain definitely feels deep, not right on the surface (and only on the right hand side).
about the pain, it comes and goes ... it is not constant throughout the day. i have no itching, or burning - it is more of a pain of either a pulled muscle or being hit with something. the pain is also sometimes on my thigh, on the same side (the right side). the pain is also not crippling, it does not interfere with doing anything, it is just uncomfortable. like i already mentioned, i have checked around down there, and do not see anything that worries me. the last person i had sex with was over a month ago, and we used protection both times.
have had a cold for over a week (coughing, sniffles, sore throat, headache) ... but don't know if it is related ... as i have 2 close friends of mine (who i see quite often) that have the same cold symptoms. i was told that if others have the same symptoms around you, it's probably not std related (but that is just what i've been told).
p.s. i am starting my period this week.
the honest truth is that i am terrified with "what if it is an std??" , but i'm also worried as to what else it could be??
