| Re: Nausea during period?
Sometimes women who have such extreme periods actually have something like fibroids, cysts or polyps causing the problem. So, your first step should be to get an internal ultrasound from your gynecologist. She will be able to tell you whether there's anything in your uterus causing the excessive symptoms.
If there's nothing there, then you're just one of those women who have heavy crampy icky periods. You may get put on the pill to allegedly make your periods shorter and/or lighter (which should help with the nausea, maybe?). For me, I was on the pill forever and it never seemed to make my period any lighter or shorter, but I guess it works for some women? You may give it a try.
