imbalance breast

hi...im a newly mum...i gave birth a year ago...my son is on breast feed until now...the prob is since i breast feed my left breast is now bigger than the right breast (left=34B, right=32B)......the difference of my breast size is very obvious...does anyone know how to solve this problem....by the way, i feed my son both side...thx...

It might help to pump the bigger side, it must get more milk than the other side. This is just a guess, but it might help.

You can feed on the smaller breast more for a while. It will stimulate more milk production in that breast and less in the other. How do you feed now? When you feed him do you start on the breast you last fed him on?

(Regarding the above post, if you pump the bigger side it will make it bigger, because it will produce more milk.)

I have the same problem. My right breast has always produced more milk. I've also developed plugged ducts on the larger breast when my daughter has nursed less for a day or so.

Lately I've been trying to begin the nursing session with the smaller breast every time. It has helped a little.

Just be careful no to neglect the larger breast because you may develop a plugged duct as I have.
