I think if you do the exercises it will help, everything gets very stretched after childbirth but if you do the exercises regularly things will tighten again and you will gain more control! If you don't see ANY improvement within a couple of weeks i would ask your midwife/health visitor/equivilant, (if you have anyone like that) it may be worth putting it by them to avoid giving yourself unnecessary worry. I had stitches when i had my first and i'm pretty sure i was the same for a while, very sore and bruised so it was easiest to just get to the loo quick! Good luck
