| Period vs. healing?
A couple days ago I got a small tear in the perineum area while having sex, and now I have started my period. The blood from my period can't like "infect" the tear, can it? Or will it slow down the healing?? I decided not to use tampons this time around just because of the tear, but now I'm thinking maybe I should so that the tear can heal up better? I've never given birth or anything so never had a tear or stitches or anything in that area, so I don't really know what to do or expect, I was just guessing that I probably shouldn't use tampons or anything while it's healing? Any suggestions??
