Mono and Late Period?
Im 18 years old, female, sexually active and recently have been diagnosed with mono. For intercourse my partner and I use both condoms with spermacide and spermacide film. However, sometimes we don't use both but only the condom with spermacide on them. Before ejaculation he pulls out even though we use a condom (I know pulling out is not a safe solution of birth control but it makes me feel better). We are very cautious. My periods are irregular so I barely know when it comes. I have yet to get my period. I was wondering if maybe my having mono had something to do wth my period not coming yet. I also have been stressed out about not getting my period. I worry about everything. So maybe this has something to do with it?

Being sick or stressed can definitely cause you to be late.

Condoms, if used correctly every time, and if they don't tear, are a very effective method of BC. Not 100%, but close. If you also pull out, it's pretty unlikely you are pregnant.

If you get to be 2 or more weeks late, and still no period, take a home test.
