Question Pain when ovulating.
I used to never have pain when ovulating but have started the last year or so. Is that normal?

I'm pretty sure I have painful ovulation because it happens 2 weeks before my period starts. I didn't experience this until about a year ago. I can't tell you for sure though because I'm not sure if that's really what's causing my cramping or not.

It's called mittelschmerz and it isn't uncommon. I get it and the cramps/pain are worse than during my period.
