I've gotten a vulva biopsy done, which determined chronic inflammation. Because of this, my symptoms were burning, itching, & irritation. Not just on the outside, but the inner lips and clitoris too. My doctor has been giving me prescription for the nerve pain, but it hasn't been working. Is there anyone in the same boat I'm in? How do I get a specialist?
You could have Vulvodynia. Do a search on this board. There are older posts about it. Mention it to your Dr. and see if he/she even knows what it is. If not, there are vulvar pain specialists, books on Vulvodynia and many articles about it. Good luck.

Hi Keva, sorry that you are in pain from this, I don't want to scare you but has your doctor tested you for VIN I had similar symtoms to yours for the last year and was finally given a biospy back in February which came back as VIN 3, which is a pre-cancerous condition of the vulva,I am now due to have excision surgery on 29th may. Prior to this diagnoses i was told it was a virus infection, then thrush but because it was not getting better with medication my doctor finally did the biospy. Again like I said don't want to scare you with this, but make you aware of problems that can occur on our vulva's I was not even aware of this until i was diagnosed, hope you feel better soon,
