I'm 20 years old and my PMS symptoms are starting to get excessive...I haven't really had problems with PMS until the last year or so. I eat right, work out 5-6 days a week, sleep enough, etc. but I still feel like crap physically, and I'm totally an emotional train-wreck; I'm like this from the time I ovulate until my period ends. Do any of you ladies out there have any suggestions on dealing with this? I really am trying to avoid going on the Pill because I have a family history of stroke and heart attack. Thanks in advance!
Tiffany, look into evening primrose oil capsules..available at any vitmain or health food store...I take 1000 mgs a day- and they seem to help quite a bit with hormonal changes..I went off the pill a few months back, and had my tubes tied at the same time, and my hormones are totally out of wack, this really is helping keep me more balanced...even my husband noticed.
