i was on my period last week and then this week it started again. is this normal??

Is this the only time it has happened? Sometimes hormonal disruptions such as occurs with stress or anxiety can cause this.

If this continues to happen and if the flow is extremely heavy or lengthy, go get checked for endometriosis by your gynecologist.

yeah this is the first time its happened so i was kind of freaked out. but it could be caused by stress? me and my friend got in a big fight last night.. couls that be what caused it?

When you get in a confrontation, your system releases a stress hormone called cortisol. Cortisol can interfere with weight control and other hormones such as the ones that can confuse your cycle.

Like I said, just pay attention to how long it lasts this time and if it is heavier than normal. Also, if it happens again without any apparent factors, get checked out.

I was 36 when I started having the periods too close together and too heavy on a regular basis. It got to where I missed one or two days of work in a month. What they did for me was D&C with Depo Provera shots (the alternative was a hysterectomy). It has worked for me for 15 years.
