STILL bleeding after ablation.

I am STILL bleeding. I cannot express how seriously bummed I am about this. I see the doctor again next week. I can't for the life of me understand WHERE the blood is coming from - I saw pictures of my uterus. The thing was charred beyond recognition!!

Out of curiosity, has anyone (when going for a follow up with their doc) either suggested to their doctor or has it been suggested by the doctor that the procedure can be done a second time? If any of you would have the opportunity to do it a second time to see if it "gets it all this time," would you? Curious to know what others think.

Re: My Novasure/endometrial ablation experience

How long has it been since you had the Novasure done?

Re: My Novasure/endometrial ablation experience

My surgery was April 7th, so its going on 9 weeks on Monday. The "period" or whatever it is that I have been on this time started May 19th and I am still bleeding today (albeit light, but still...).

Re: My Novasure/endometrial ablation experience

At the time I made my appt to discuss Novasure, I was only getting 9-10 days between my periods. It was like I was on one ALL the time. You can imagine how much fun that was...haha. Anyway, my mom wondered if it just takes time for things to slough off...I wish I knew. I suppose I should give it more time but I can't help but feel really disappointed (and emotional) as a result.
