My period is late and I'm freaking out. I'd really appreciate it if you could take the time to read through my situation and give your opinions or any advice. I really just need someone to talk to (besides my boyfriend, who I've already talked to of course).
My last period started on May 10th, so based on that (and assuming a 28 day cycle), my next period should have started on June 7th. Usually though, it only takes me 24 or 25 days in between. However, I have not gotten my period yet and I am very scared that I might be pregnant.
I'm only 20 years old and I have been with my boyfriend for two years now. We ALWAYS use a condom and he pulls out everytime as an extra precaution. I have never had unprotected sex.
I am not really experiencing any of the symptoms I usually get with my period. My face always breaks out before my period, but I haven't gotten any new pimples this week. I haven't had any cramps either, although I did have some lower back pain today, which I know is a sign of pregnancy. I have been Googling a lot but I think I'm just freaking myself out more.
Today, I felt some minor discomfort in my stomach area, which I thought could have been a good sign, but still no period. I did have some brown, mucus like discharge tonight. I looked this up online, and according to the websites I found, it looks like this can occur right before your period OR as an early sign of pregnancy during the time which you would have expected to get your period. I'm praying that I'm just late, but I am NEVER late and I'm very nervous. I'm stressing out so much, which could be delaying my (potential) period even more.
Does anyone have any advice? How long should I wait to take a pregnancy test? As of now, I'm only like 3 days late, but considering how I'm usually early, even more late than that.

I also got that brown/yellow discharge and had lower back pain, so I talked to my boyfriend and we desided I should go see a doctor, which I think you should do aswell.
what the dr told me is that there is alot of things that can cause this.
after the examination the dr said it is just a mild infection and gave me a perscription, after all I got my period, now things are back to normal
so what I would recomend is find a good gini and make an appointment.
If you are already late, take a home pregnancy test. It will show up as soon as a few days before your period or at very latest the first day your period is late. So if you test now you will get a reliable result. If you still don't get your period in a few days, test again and if it is still negative see a doctor. But by the sounds of it, if you have never had unprotected sex and your BF pulls out while also wearing a condom, it is very unlikely you are pregnant.
