Unexplained Hot Flashes?

I have been getting random hot flashes for 2 months now that are occasionally accompanied by fever. I went to the doctor because I had other symptoms, she said I had a UTI even though no "bugs" grew when my urine was tested. I took the anti-biotics and that got rid of all my other symptoms.

But I am still getting hot flashes. Sometimes at work I will have to leave my desk and splash my face with cold water it gets that bad. My face goes flushed my ears go bright red and I don't know why!

I'm only 20 and this has only started within the last 2 months. Any idea's? Its becoming increasingly uncomfortable. I get them maybe 2 times a week or so.
