Unhappy I am scared!!...
Hi. Six weeks ago my c-section wound opened up by itself at the doctor's office. I have been through the wet to dry dressings, vac system to help close it and now some type of algae stuff. It looks very good and it looks like it might close up finally within the next few days. Today I woke up to clean the wound and notice that I had a open area where the scar has healed and weeping a bit. Is there any chance of it opening up again? Thank you very much.

Since it's been 6 weeks already, I'd go to the doctor. I helped my sister clean and dress hers after her C-section, and it healed up pretty well by 3 weeks and I know it was healed by 6 weeks. She found that wearing the waist belt/girdle thing they gave her really helped it heal by holding everything in nice and tight.
