odor without itch

i've never had a yeast infection, but all sources tell me that the symptoms include itching and burning.
now, i have no vaginal discomfort- none whatever- and no unusual discharge... but lately i've noticed a sort of yeasty odor- like bread. what could be going on? nothing else is unusual, and like i said, nothing hurts or itches. it started a few days ago.
and as for my menstural cycle, i'm due for my period in, oh, ten or eleven days.
can anyone help me?

Red face Re: question about feminine odor

I have been dealing with a similar situation. But mine has lasted for a couple months. It is on and off. Some days it is worse. I know that sounds gross but I dont know what else to do. I just now recently got medical insurance so I was planning on going to the doctor soon but I didnt know what it could be from. When I first started dating my now husband, it was about 3 years ago, I constantly got bladder infections to the point it worried me. Then it just stopped. Every once in a while I will get one but its not bad. I read somewhere that it could be from an ongoing infection but I didnt know if this was true or not. Its not necessarily the same smell though. It is stronger some days and then sometimes I dont even notice it. It has gotten to the point where I dont even want to have sex with my new hubby. My sex drive is already low but this makes it even worse. It is so embarrasing. Can anyone suggest anything over the counter?
