The past two weeks i have not been feeling well at all. Ive felt really tired and i thought i was pregnant as i had sex when on my pill but i was also on an anti biotic. I then came off my pill and took my period. But i have just finished my period and i still do not feel well at all. My boobs are really swallen and today i have not been able to stop going to toilet and getting sore pains in my stomach. Have you any ideas what could be wrong with me? Can you still be pregnant even though you have had a period after you have stopped you pill? Pls help as i cant figure this out?

Hi Daydo 88 - Yes, you can absolutely be pregnant. The antibiotic wouldve pretty much voided the pill, and you could bleed after stopping the pill, or it could've been spotting. I suggest getting a home prego test from the nearest drug store. ( not the cheapest one). Maybe an early detection one. They are fairly accurate!
If you stopped the pill suddenly, that could cause bleeding even if it is not your time of the month. Use mornings first urine. Good luck! Sherbear38

Yes, take the preg test, BUT I too have had this experience many times (too many than I'd like to admit, as I am usually very careful with my pill and anti biotics) but...I too would feel "pregnancy" type symptoms (frequent need to urinate, tender breasts, irritability, etc, cramping between cycles) and I think it MAY have to do with the antibiotic messing with the pill....but none of the times have I actually been pregnant. So, try not to worry too much!
