I also had a Leep done for moderate dysplasia from HPV in Feb of 2007. The edges were clear and then I went on a rollar coaster ride. 4 months later got another abnormal, which they said might be healing so to wait another 4 months. That one came back normal and I was so happy because I thought I wouldn't have to worry anymore. Well...the one 4 months later came back abnormal again so I had to go have another colpo. The spot was small and they said I could either treat it with cryo or wait another 4 months to see if it went away on it's own. I decided to wait and see and the next pap did come back normal, which was about 2 months ago. So I'm due in another 2 months for my next pap and hope it comes back normal. The good thing is they should be able to tell you after your colpo how serious it is and where it is. My Leep was done in the cervical canal while the mild spot was on the surface of my cervix. I know it takes a toll emotionally, but it will be ok. Just be religious about getting to the GYN to be checked. Let me know how it goes.
