Burning during period

Hi, For the past couple of months ive been having some burning sensation when i urinate, but this only happens when i am on my period. I wanted to know if this is normal or if i need to pay closer attention to it. The burning will last for a couple seconds even after i am finish urinating, could this be a yeasr infection or UTI? This only happens to me when I am on my period though. It will even last up to 2 days after my period has stopped, then that burning sensation will stop. I am desperate to know if this is normal before my next cycle in 1 week, dreading for it to come, just because of that discomfort. Anybody please help.

Re: Burning during period

From what I have read estrogen levels increase right before periods. yeast act up right before periods...because of estrogen levels. See if you can test for fungus and also for trichomonos which can flare before/during a period

Re: Burning during period

I think it could be a low-grade yeast infection, might want to get tested.

If you don't get an answer before your next period, drink plenty of water to thin your urine, and blot with the toilet paper, don't wipe.
