Why do I keep getting UTIs?

I'm not sexually active any more (I've even had to give up masturbating! ) I drink around 3 liters of water a day...no soda or caffeine at all...and yet I keep getting them!? WHY?!

May be too much information, but, the way you wipe can cause them. You are suppose to wipe front to back. When you do the other way bacteria can get in there an cause infections. Some people use baby wipes to keep it clean.

Re: Why do I keep getting UTIs?

You might want to try drinking unsweetened cranberry juice daily (might want to dilute it, it's pretty tart! Also, there is a natural supplement called D-Mannose (often sold as "Clear Tract") that you can take on a regular basis to help prevent UTIs - it works wonders! I have completely treated all of my UTIs using only this stuff and no antibiotics (which I don't really agree with using, except in extreme cases).

Also, be careful using any sort of wipe down there because most wipes contain some sort of anti-bacterial ingredients which kill off good bacteria and can lead to yeast infections...
Good Luck!
