I have went to the gyn and had my annual. My pap swear is normal. I have no yeast infection, no hpv, no bv, I have absolutely nothing. I explained to my doc that it makes me feel insecure to even have sex. The doc said the discharge is normal. Discharge ranges from thin to thick. The doc told me not worry or be concerned because i am healthy.
I just dont know what to do. It is thick, sometimes yeasty looking and white to off white. There is no smell or anything. It is just thick and clumpy.
Does anyone have this issue and what have you done or what can i do about it? There has to be something!!!

I recall having this type of problem long long ago in my youth. I had a constant low grade yeast infection that was unsucessfully treated with the usual pessaries and creams, and even vinegary douches whe I got really desperate. It just nver went away. My feeling is that it was due to my lifestyle (horseriding) and poor diet, lots of suggary bread things. Someone even suggested using condies crystals as a douche.
Another thing to be aware of is that the mucus discharge changes through out your monthly cycle. During your more fertile periods, the mucus is designed to be ready to transport any swimmers through the cervix. So perhaps your jusst young fertile and healthy, but I do sympathise with the problem.

Ever since I gave birth to my daughter last year, I too have had a thicker discharge than what I was used to and it bothers me. My gyn. recommended using an antihistamine to reduce the amount of discharge. I never did it because I dislike using medicine for such an odd purpose, but you could try it if it bothers you that much.

I have no yeast infection. I defnitly understand that your discharge changes through out the month but in this case, this is 24-7.
