| breast cyst aspiration
I was sent to a surgeon by my gyn for a spot on my mammogram and for nasty nipple discharge from the other breast. I really did not want see the specialist but the family doc agreed with the gyn so I went. Anyway the breast that is leaking the green discharge was the one the gyn wanted a smear or culture done on. He did not even look at the discharge and then did the ultrasound. He saw a large cyst in the other one so he picks up a needle and tries to drain it. He couldn't get it so he then sticks me again and pulls out a bunch of nasty stuff. The gyn wanted that and the discharge from the other one to be looked at by pathology , but he threw it away. I thought the green nipple discharge must be infection but now I don't know what to think. Then he tells me the cyst in the other one will likely come right back. I hope to never ever have a cyst drained with out being a little number up again, that was very very painful. Anyone else have drainage from the nipple and not found out what caused it ??
