Hi. I am almsot 42. My period always came anywhere between 23 and 27 days
mostly 27. but this month it didnt come until day 31 and was heavier than usual. I was diagnosed with high risk hpv feb08. all tests are normal, no cell changes. went for a pap in aug. showed normal dr told me to come back ina yr. is it just my age or does hpv affect your period? I dont think I will ever ease my mind knowing i was diagnosed with hpv. thanks

i've had the same problem with my period after being diagnosed with hpv 5 yrs ago. i have had heavy period even before it, i used midol/ motrin atleast 2-3 days out of my period and it lasts 6-7 days. i haven't been able to get over the fact i have it.

i was recently diagnosed with HPV. i noticed a change in my periods. they are heavier and shorter and i have more cramps. i asked my doctor if HPV affects periods and she said no. but i have experienced other wise.

Hi Tiggy, it could be your age. I don't think the HPV has anything to do with the inconsistency of your cycles.

Although it past a year since the last post about this subject I must reply to it!! I was looking for some answers in the web when I found this!!

I always had 2 or 3 days of period and now that I have been diagnosed with hpv it's still the same but the problem is that I notice some diferences when I got the hpv vaccine!

My period was to come one day after I got the second vaccine but it already passed 4, 5 days and nothing yet and it's very strange because this never happened to me!!!

I also noticed that I have some little pimples in my forehead and I know that it could happend before the period but also never happened to me!!!!
Could the hpv vaccine influence the hormones?!
