I just started my last period on sept 10th. I missed 2 pills during the end of week 1/beginning of week 2. During that time i had sex. monday night i started having "withdrawl bleeding" and still have it. I called my doc on tuesday and she said this is normal. Ive read that you should use a backup bc the week after you miss but i did not. what are my chances that i am pregnant and how long will the bleeding last for?? thanks!!!

there is no specific "statistic" that can tell you how probable it is that you are pregnant. if you missed two consecutive pills and did not use back-up, your chances are obviously greater. i would continue taking the pills as normal and see if your period comes again. if not, take a pregnancy test.

as for the withdrawal bleeding, it should only last a few days to a week if you get your body back on the schedule.
