Pain after cervical cone biopsy

Hi,
I had a colposcopy and punch cone biopsy at the end june and the results came back that I have CIN1, I have to return for a further colposcopy in January '09. I am still finding sex painful-is this normal? I don't know if this is because maybe I am tense worrying that it will hurt, as the biopsy was a little traumatic! It feels like a burning pain around my cervix during sex, and during my periods I am still having a lot of 'old' brown blood appearing-is that usual?

I would really appreciate any advice or hearing anyone else's experiences.

Many Thanks
Kate
