Please Help...left-side pelvic pain..hurts so bad

I'm 25 years old with 2 kids born 10 months apart. I got a tubal ligation after the second in 2006. For the first 3 months afterwards I had to lay down and not move at all for the first 2-3 days of a 5 day cycle. went to my gyno and she gave me Birth control. I stayed on that for 6 months but wasn't see any change so I discontinued. For the last year and a half I have dealt with discomfort on my left-side of the pelvic region day to day. If I twist my body to far it feels like it's gonna rip, when my kids bounce on my belly it feels like it's gonna burst. It feels as if there is something there. And when my period rolls around the pain gets debilitating. Despite douching after my periods I still have brown blood but what seems to be only on the left side of my tampon. But what's got me here today is for the last 5 months I have had only 2 periods but the pain during what is supposed to be my menstrual week (on the missed periods) have been absolutely horrible last time it actually felt like everything was just gonna fall out. There was so much pressure on the the left side. And now that I missed last months period and this months is here my blood is clotting much more than it ever has along with the brown and stinky blood. My gyno has told me this is nothing to worry about and I should take BC to regulate irregular periods. but I just don't believe her and can't afford to be told that again. I never really had messed up periods except when I was in military school and on birth control which during those times I never had a period. I had extreme cramps when I first started to have my period(age11) but after at least a year I wasn't cramping any more. What could be going on with me? I;ve steadily gotten worse over the last 5 months and I'm scared at what next month will bring me. Please Help

Re: Please Help...left-side pelvic pain..hurts so bad

I think if I were you I'd get another gyn. It sounds like you need someone to get a good look at what's going on. They could do ultrasound to see how everything looks both externally and vaginally with a wand type thing. It's probably something they can take care of as long as you find someone who is willing to check it out. Check around and see who is recommended and make an appt ASAP with another Gyno. You deserve relief from this.

i'd love to go to another gyno. I just can't afford it. and just about everywhere wants there money the same day. I can make payments I just can't pay another 150 (which is what I paid last time) to be told there is nothing wrong
