Lump in Breast

February 2008 I got the flu and during that time found a lump in my breast. I went to my OB-GYN to have it checked out. I thought that it had gotten smaller, and told her that. She said that it would probably go away after my next cycle, so I canceled my Ultrasound. 8 months later I noticed that it is still there. I already have an appointment made, but I can't believe its still there. Its pretty deep, I have to push to feel it, and it doesn't hurt. Has anyone else been through this? I'm starting to worry a little.

Re: Lump in Breast

try not to worry! It could be a cyst or just fatty tissue. But if i can be honest for a sec...if my doctor EVER brushed something as serious as a lump off..i would be looking for a new doctor ASAP!!! I had a lump once...i turned out to be fatty tissue. Best of luck to you!!!
