I am not sure what you are asking, but I had the Novasure procedure done about 2 weeks ago. There was really no prep before the procedure except that I had to have general anesthesia because I was having a d & c done too (due to having a polyup and needing to take that out too) so I could not eat or drink after midnight.

My pre-op consisted of the doctor telling me the risks involved with the procedure and explaining that for best results it should be directly after your period and we set a date. That's all and they also checked my Hgb because I had been anemic. It was just a regular visit basically. FLFLOWERGIRL
