| low estrogen levels
Hello,
I posted a few weeks back about a reaction to bio-identical progesterone I was using... I've been suffering from severe menstrual cramps, pain during ovulation, soreness for about 2 weeks after my periods etc... My periods aren't irregular, but they are longer (usually 35+ days)
My doctor gave me some bio-identical progesterone to try and it made my anxiety levels go through the roof, I could barely function, it also made my skin break out really badly... and it did nothing for my cramps....
I have since stopped using the progesterone but am wondering if a reaction like this means that I have enough or too much progesterone and not enough estrogen? I tried searching but I can only find things related to menopausal women and I'm only 19, so it hasn't been much help...
If anyone has any experience with low estrogen levels, I would greatly appreciate your advice!
Thank you!
Shanna
