Prior to a LEEP, they should do a urine pregnancy test. They gave me one prior to my LEEP. If you suspect you are pregnant and it's too early for a urine pregnancy test, I'd call them in advance and let them know that.
Hello...I couldn't figure out how to start my own topic....but I figure someone could help me out here under this one.Well I just had a leep procedure done 3 weeks ago.and I had some bleeding a week after....it was more like heavy spotting.So I decided to wait it out a few days and it went away.When I had the procedure done I didn't feel anything at all....the doc put me under and I woke up in the recovery room feeling like nothing happend at all.He then tole me that I couldn't have sex for 4 weeks....that has been really hard.....I got one more week to go then I'm "fully recoverd".A little advice would be much appreciated I'm not sure if it is normal to bleed during recovery.Thanks
A little spotting off and on is normal. If you are bleeding heavily, I would call your doctor. I would think it should get progressively lighter during your recovery, but could come and go. If in doubt, call your doctor!
