| Chlamydia Question, please read.
Months ago I got a routine pap smear from my gynecologist, days later she called me and told me I had chlamydia present in the results. I called my boyfriend with whom I've been TOTALLY monogamous for a year and asked if he needed to tell me anything. He claims to have been totally faithful and then got tested at his doctor a couple days later. I got treated, then he told me his results came back negative and that my test must have been a false positive. I have trouble believing him, he could have gotten treated right after I told him. It's one pill, it only takes a day to cure. So my question is, how common are false positives for chlamydia in a pap smear? Thanks.
