yogurt preventing bv

Hey ladies I ttly agree been battling bv for couple yrs now so I changed my dr and dis new dr is really good. She said if you used metronzidale antibiotics once and infection came back then the bacteria has evolved and some have learned to survive and multiply again causing recurrent bv and metrogel is same as metronzidale pills just in a gel form so won't cure infection either. She prescribed a stronger medication for women who bodies are immune to flagy antibiotics its called clindamycin 2% vaginal cream the bad thing is the prescription costs about $55 which is why most clinics give out the other medicine that doesn't work. And told me to try and eat danon activia yogurt everyday and take probiotics gel capsules daily. They can be brought at drugstores BUT you have to make sure you buy the capsules that are refrigerated NOT just simply the tablets from walgreens. You can also go to whole foods and buy keifer drinks eat live active cheese. Just some suggestions for women whose bodies are immune to metrogel/metronzidale antibioticŖ
