Can fatigue days before period be improved?
I get really tired and fatigued 5 - 7 days before my period. It starts in the morning, I do not feel like getting out of bed. I feel tired all day long, just about. I cannot eat because my cramps start on/off, and I cannot take anything down. I also feel chilly during these days.
During this days, I manage to eat a cheeseburger, orzo soup, bowl of rice, peanut butter, stuff like this during this week - things that I can eat that can keep me full for a couple hours. Then my period comes, I'm in bed almost all day, then the second day my energy comes back and I'm back to normal up until three weeks later where I start the feeling again.. I noticed my fatigue is more obvious during the cold months than during the summer. I am told that my period is normal and there isn;t anything wrong. Should I just conusume more iron during this time? I avoid fruits and juices because of the cramps.
