Diet, exercise and period....

I just have a quick question. I just started doing Weight Watchers three weeks ago along with doing the treadmill five days a week. I'm trying to get some extra baby weight off!!! Anyway, can starting a diet and exercise program delay your period? I have always had 26 day cycles....like clockwork. I've been late twice and, yep you guessed it, both of those times I was pregnant. I really don't think that I am pregnant, but can't figure out another reason for being four days late now. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen before from a change in diet or exercise?
