Lumps on the armpit??? - Women's Health Message Board

What can lumps on the armpit be from? Well it's actually one lump on my left armpit. I am now on my period (I dont know it that helps or not), I have arthritis in my neck.

Any suggestions!!!

Last summer I noticed a small lump in my left armpit. It was soft and moveable. The doctor told me it was swollen sweat gland, kind of like a cyst.

is this lump always there? or is it there only when you have your period?
is the lump small or large?
do you have any other symptoms or just the lump?
