No, it isn't a yeast cure. Epsom salt is mainly magnesium. Plain yogurt or probiotics would be a much better bet.

Re: Epsom Salt Bath to help cure yeast infection?

The actual cure is to address the root of the problem which is candida. You have to do a candida cleanse which kits are sold and consists a few herbal mixtures. You will have to stay away from many foods with sugars and breads during this period because those foods feed the candida. The goal is to starve, kill and then eliminate the candida. Probiotics helps, but the cleanse will take care of them.

Re: Epsom Salt Bath to help cure yeast infection?

Thanks everyone! I'll be sure to take all of your advice! I heard though that taking these baths are good for you, do you think it could make it worse in anyway? Also, why when I wipe is there a pinkish discharge? Does anyone know? I have the typical white (sure sign of yeast infection) but the pink makes me nervous. I'm supposed to get my period any day, but it sure doesn't resemble period blood. (Also, I'm at no risk of STD) What is this? Oh, and I'm on day 2 of the Monistat 3 day. Thanks!
