| Re: just had implantation bleeding, my period is irregular, when should i take a preg
Umm....how do you know you had implantation bleeding? Maybe you were spotting? I have 3 children and I never had implantation bleeding. Some people do, but it is not a given to have it with every pregnancy.
If you were to have implantation bleeding, it would occur 6 to 12 days after ovulation. You would normally start your period roughly 14 days after ovulation....and if you didn't start it...then that would be considered a missed period. BUT....if you are having irregular periods anyway....you may even be having non-ovulatory cycles when you DO have a period. You should see a specialist if you are actively trying to conceive because believe me.....with irregular periods.....you may just be beating a dead horse trying it on your own. I lived through that. I had very irregular cycles and tried on my own for 2 and a half years and nothing. I finally went to see a specialist who put me on fertility drugs and after 4 cycles....I conceived.
Also, urine testing is often very accurate. If you get a negative result....it is almost guaranteed that you are not pregnant. Whenever my doctors office would test me for pregnancy....it was only done by urine.....not blood. If it was positive, then they sent me to the lab for blood work so they could see the big picture. But, if the urine test came out negative, they left it at that.
Good luck.
