Excessive Bleeding after Pap Smear - Women's Health Message Board

Ok...had my yearly pap on Friday went fine no pain no spotting. Then Saturday I noticed some spotting and then later that night Alot of blood. Now my period isn't due til another 10 days (I am very regular). What is going on. Maybe it is my period or what else could it be? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Are you still bleeding today? If so I would say it is an early period. Mine used to be regular too but all of the sudden it changed and now I never know when to expect it.

I'm not one to call the Dr., however, I think tomorrow I am. This is not like my period at all. I wanted to see what today brought and it was nothing like my period. Soaking thru to many tampons and pads...1 an hour. Not sure what they can do for me? Ugh!! it's always something!

It's best to get it checked out. I hope everything is okay.
