Question Bright red blood?

I was just wondering if anyone had bright red blood towards the end of a period. I have had my usual heavy clots and dak red /brown blood for a few days, then brown spotting yesterday like the end of a period. Today after work, I had cramping then bright red bleeding. Is this somethign that should concern me?

Re: Bright red blood?

It sounds to me that the blood at the very end is just a bit more fresh. Likely, you bleed, then the darker blood is the last to come out, then you cramp, then it's fresh blood again. My period actually stops for a day, then comes back one day, so I am kind of like this too. I notice that blood color can slightly change depending on medications/nutrients/vitamins. One time I notice that when I cut myself, my blood was reddish orange, rather than brighter or darker red. Sure enough, I noticed that again during my period. I was eating a certain nutrition bar pretty much every day, so I found out it was some of the vitamins in that bar doing it.
