Hi all, Ive just joined and didn't have a clue where to post this, hoping for some advice please
I had a smear test done in June and it showed I had CIN 3 cells on my cervix, I had also had problems with fibroids and endometriosis since the birth of my 2nd daughter 9yrs ago, tried 6 different pills, coil, injection and eventually got sterilized at 28 to try and control it. Bleeding got out of control again earlier this yr and I was wearing super tampons along with super sized towels and flooding these within an hour, bleeding lasted around 2weeks then I would be clear for a while, but if I had sex I would start spotting and bleeding soon after.
Well my specialist recommended me for a Novasure Ablation to be done under general anaesthetic at the same time as having my biopsy done for abnormal cells, I had this op on 25th July, bled for 2 weeks, lost discharge for a further 4. Everything is fine now and Ive not had a period since beginning July, only bleeding Ive experienced has been after the op, which is fantastic
The main problem is.....I have no desire for sex whatsoever since the op, my hubby doesnt understand this and to be honest I don't have an answer why, I just get no urges or thoughts and if he touches me I feel uncomfortable, I used to be the total opposite, couldn't get enough and Im wondering if I will ever get it back as im only 31
