Depends on how far along in your pregnancy you are. If you're 2.5 months or less, the procedure is rather quick and simple, however you will probably be given an anti-anxiety drug for obvious reasons. Therefore, yes you should have someone drive you home.
As for the other questions; you should be able to go to work the next day, and exercise a few days later.
You obviously should ask your doctor before he begins this procedure.
I plan to ask my doctor a bunch of questions but since the office is closed right now I am trying to find what infomation I can online. I am really stressing out over how much pain I will be in and other complications.
Not sure if it is nerves or something else but I have barely been able to sleep or eat since I scheduled this since I have a fear of any type of medical procedure. (even a simple blood test makes me nervous)
One more question I have. How much pain will I be in during and after? I am less then 5 weeks along if that helps.
Not much, however; it's all relative. The entire procedure takes less than 10 minutes, and is bearable. Afterward, you will have some heavy bleeding for the first 24 hrs, then it subsides. If not, call him.
