| Surgery and I have a cold....?
I am scheduled for a LAP assisted hysterectomy, bladder sling, and prolapse repair surgery this Monday morning. I woke up yesterday and my voice was very hoarse. Today my voice keeps coming in and out and my nose is starting to get stuffy. I have no other symptoms. The woman at the hospital during my pre-tesing yesterday, said as long as I do not have a fever over 100, then I should be ok.
What should I do? I have a 3 and 4 yr old at home and have set up everything for this surgery on Monday. Is it bad to have surgery when you have a cold?
