Does anyone know why there are darker areas on the nipple? Is that normal?

Re: just curious...

Hi Katielyn

Mine are darker sometimes, but I also know that that was one of the first signs I got when I fell pregnant, they went dark and stayed dark
Hope this helps

Re: just curious...

Darker areas are also normal- everyone has different coloring. The areola is always darker then the surrounding areas....some people have different colors in different areas of their nipples just normally. Have you ever tanned topless? that can change the colors also...(not recommended); if you are really concerned, ask your gyn about it, however in general, differnt colors doesnt signify anything being wrong...
