Re: can you get rash on vagina from not taking daily showers

It's actually bad to shower everyday or more than once a day since it strips your skin of it's natural oils, and causes it to become dry and irritated. But showering every other day is okay. The only exception to showering everyday is if your exercise regularly and your sweating and so on.

Although you don't need to shower everyday, you still need to wash the vulva (exterior to the vagina) everyday, or even better, twice a day, to wash away any dead skin cells in that area, and cloth bits, and bits of toilet paper that may get stuck in between the folds of the labias. Not doing that regularly can leave room for an infection to occur from all the (bad) bacteria accumulating, and other things that shouldn't be there. Excuse me for sounding graphic.
