| BV, pelvic pain, vaginal discharge, with normal CT & ultrasound
I'm 28 and highly frustrated! I have been enduring pelvic pain since Wed. and have had relief. I was diagnosed with BV on the 18th at a doctors appt. but when the pain was too excruciating I went to the ER. All they did was another pelvic which was painful as hell and send me home. So yesterday morning after vomiting twice I went back to the ER. This time they did another damn pelvic, but did and ultrasound which left me in tears, and a CT. My blood and urine sample came back clear, and the ultrasound and CT were clear as well. The problem that remains ins the excruciating pelvic pain, and vaginal discharge. I mean it's like a damn stream leaving me feeling disgusting. I'm a clean person who takes pride in her body. The crazy thing is that I've been celibate for almost 2 years and when the doctors told me about the BV which can also be PID they asked me if I had been sexually active. I told them all several times that I have not engaged in any sexual activity in almost 2 years. I'm frustrated because the Norco, Vicodine and Ultram aren't doing anything to stop the pain. Plus I'm vomiting and running a low grade fever. What is going on? Can anyone help me please? I will be seeing my PCP in the morning and telling her bout my weekend and seeing if I can get a referral to see someone else in GYN. Any suggestions about a diagnosis. I was diagnosed with abdominal/pelvic pain of unknown origin, but as a woman I know something is not right! Help please!
