Can Anyone Tell Me What You Do for Moodiness due to PMS?

Hi, everyone. From ovulation to around the 3rd day of my period, i'm irritable and my mood plummets.

It happens every month and i don't know what to do about it...feel like i've tried everything.

I'm on testosterone cream because that was the hormone that was low, i'm on ferritin because my iron was low and vit. d because that was low.

They are all slowing moving up.

Other than that, all tests were okay.

From ovulation to the 3rd day of my period is a long time to feel lousy.

Anyone go through this and did you do anything to help it?

I'm so tired of it.

Thank you very much,
Salty

Re: Can Anyone Tell Me What You Do for Moodiness due to PMS?

salty,
At least you are aware of this mood change. I know many women who think nothing is wrong with them when they get this way!! I always know when I start to PMS. My husband will tell me. Lately though, he said he's been suprised that I started my period yet was acting fine. I do take Omega 3 which some say can help with depression and mood swings. I don't know, but I believe it has helped me some. I'm not as moody or flying off the handle like I used to. That, or just aging; I'm more in control?
Good luck to you.

CaringMom, thank you for writing. How much Omega 3 do you take?

I take (2) 1,000 mg salmon oil capsules per day.

What form do you take it in and how much?

Do you take it throughout the day or all at once?

Could you be specific because i'll try what you do...i really want some help.

Thanks so much,
Salty
