Hi Ladies! I could not get my hysterosonogram done this morning that I was waiting 3 weeks for to r/o polyp. The Dr was very nice and unfortunately he said my cervix was extremely narrow/small and the smallest catheter would not go through. He tried to dialate my cervix (he made 3 attempts) and nothing. I have to laugh because the whole thing is so ridiculous. Now he said I have to schedule to have it done while they put me under totally. I am so frustrated and quite honestly I feel like dropping the whole thing-uggghhhhh. Has anyone gone through this? I believe he said stenosis of the cervix-right now I have stenosis of my brain-uggggh.

Aw Kim, I'm so sorry to hear that! I guess some women have problems with dialation of their cervix. I've heard of it but I don't think it's totally common. That really sucks they couldn't get it done in the office!

Well, at this point I think you're right, you have to laugh, right? Because it really is rather ridiculous when you look at all of what you've been through. I really hope they can get this figured out for you! Sigh. Doctors..... can't live with em, can't live without em, nuts!

Thanks - yes it is so frustrating but funny at the same time-the story of my life. Dr. said my cervix was disgruntle-lol. All I kept thinking while he was trying dialate damn it -dialate you damn cervix-lol and I became disgruntle. Well tomorrow I will call Dr and see what she thinks.
