| Question
I had BV back in December and took Flagyl which I had an allergic reaction to and had to go off of. Anyway, I had no more bad smell so I thought I was ok. Then mid cycle this past time I got the smell back so I went to the gyn again and he said that it didn't look like BV to him and he did a culture and said everything was normal. He told me to use a vinegar douche by Masingail or something? I didn't use it because I got my period a day or two later and now I can't smell the fishy smell anymore. That was the second time thought that I got that smell around mid cycle. What could be causing that and can it be normal? I had HPV when I was younger, but was treated with a Laser Cone Biopsy I think and have thankfully had normal Pap's since. I guess my gyno would pick up on it if there were something wrong, but it makes me nervous. Any help would be appreciated.
